LaTonya has always had a passion for the creativity that she could show thru the art of makeup. From her very first makeup application at 13 years old which consisted of playing in her grandmothers Fashion Fair Makeup, Latonya was fascinated about the transforming effects the makeup had. As she grew older her fascination for the art of makeup continued to intensify as she experimented further. While pursuing a degree in Marketing, LaTonya’s career in makeup artistry officially began in 2000 as a beauty consultant for Lancôme.
With Lancôme she learned key skills and became a consultant to clients about their beauty and skincare needs. After completing her BA in Marketing, she continued to work part-time as a makeup artist for other prestigious brands while developing a career in the Fashion Industry.
Today, LaTonya uses self taught makeup techniques to specialize in makeup for bridal, commercial, print, editorial, fashion, runway, headshots and special events. In addition to providing skin care consulting, she continues her passion of freelancing work thru her creation of Face Splash Makeup LLC.
